Do I have to have a brick-and-mortar location to participate?
Absolutely not. The FundTag Program is available to any business that sells something, whether a product sold at a brick-and-mortar location or a service provided at a customer’s home. FundTag will provide you with the tools to make the Program effective for you.

How will FundTag integrate with my point-of-sale system?
FundTag’s team of integration specialists will work with you to provide you with the highest level of integration that you desire. From complete integration with your barcode scanner and software system to an interface that is completely separate from your POS system, FundTag will make the Program seamlessly fit into your existing procedures.

What if I don’t have a point-of-sale system?
FundTag can provide you with a mobile phone application that will allow you to use your smartphone or tablet as a point-of-sale interface with the FundTag Program. Even if you don’t have a smartphone or tablet, FundTag will provide you with a web-based interface that you can use to record FundTag transactions.

What advertising can I do on the app?
In addition to general information about your business, you will have an unlimited ability to place advertisements for special offers, specific products or services that you offer. You can place as many or as few ads as you like through our web-based or mobile-app based interface. There is no additional cost for any of this advertising.

How much does it cost?
All the FundTag Program will cost you is two small percentages of each sale made by a FundTag user who presents the FundTag app for scanning upon checkout. One percentage determines the amount that you will pay to the FundTag Foundation that will be sent to the schools, churches, and charities chosen by your customers. The other, smaller percentage is paid to FundTag Marketing Group for your advertising fee.

How and when do I pay for the FundTag Program?
FundTag will invoice you after the end of each month for the amounts owed from transactions for that month. Payment will be due 20 days from the date of the invoice.

How are the donations that I make to the FundTag Foundation handled?
Your donations to the FundTag Foundation will be distributed to schools, churches and charities (“beneficiaries”) as advised by the users of the app. Users of the app will be able to select up to 10 different beneficiaries to support with the donations derived from their purchases. At the end of each month, the donations accumulated by each user will be divided among those beneficiaries. As soon as any beneficiary accumulates $30 or more in donations, that beneficiary will be sent a check for the total amount of their accumulated donations.

How do I account for the donations I make to the FundTag Foundation?
Please talk to your accountant. Foundation, Inc. has filed an application with the IRS to be recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity eligible to receive tax-deductible donations. However, that determination letter remains pending as of this date.

How much of the donated amount actually goes to the schools, churches and charities selected by my customers?
100% of the donation amount is paid to the beneficiaries and the percentage is clearly displayed on each business' profile direclty on the app.

Which schools, churches, and charities are eligible to receive donations?
Schools must be recognized by the appropriate state entity regulating schools in that state. Churches must be non-profit entities recognized as such by the state of their domicile. Charities must be 501(c)(3) charitable organizations eligible to receive tax-deductible donations and be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service.

How do I know that the donations that I provide are reaching the intended beneficiaries?
There are several built-in checks in the FundTag Program. First, FundTag will provide you access to a report showing you the beneficiaries that your customers have chosen. That report will show you which of those beneficiaries have accumulated more than $30 in donations and, therefore, have been paid. You are then free to check with any of those beneficiaries to inquire as to whether they have received payment.

In addition, users of the app will be able to view a report showing their donations. That report will indicate when their chosen beneficiaries were last sent a check. Users are then free to check with their beneficiaries to confirm that they are receiving the appropriate donations.

Also, beneficiaries will be able to log on to their FundTag accounts to view donations made to their organization by their supporters. They will then be able to confirm that they have received payments as indicated by that report.
Finally, the FundTag Foundation will undergo an annual independent audit required by many states that will ensure that all donations have been properly paid to beneficiaries.

What are the risks?
The only risk to you is that you will get more customers than you’ve ever had before. You pay nothing unless FundTag gets customers to buy your products or services. There are no upfront costs. If FundTag does not bring you customers, you never pay anything.
